Our Single Island Rum matures for four years under tropical conditions in former Chardonnay barrels made of lightly toasted European oak. This maturation ensures a fine balance between fruitiness and the gentle influence of the oak, while the Chardonnay barrels impart additional aromas of freshness and fruitiness.
